The shady dogwood garden is full of the bright and variegated greens I've been working toward ...


... plus the color from astilbe (the deep magenta), Missouri primrose (the yell0w) and the beginnings of impatiens hidden by greenery for the moment (yes the lawn needs mowing!)


The roses are nearly done ...


... but the front hostas have just started to bloom.
